The Zonker Kwan These six kwan flies are tied on Umpqua all purpose saltwater hooks in size 1 in two color schemes. Three have chartreuse magnum zonker strip crown​/​head, metallic gold crystal flash antennae, sand-clear and chartreuse sili legs, chartreuse hackle collar and chartreuse EP foxy brush body weighted with small chartreuse dumbbell eyes and finished with chartreuse thread. Three have purple zonker crown with purple crystal flash accent, purple-clear and sand-clear sili legs, purple hackle collar and black-purple EP foxy brush body weighted with small pearl-black dumbbell eyes finished with black thread. Yet another version of my top-selling and redfish-proven Kwan flies. The added flash and the zonker strip create the excitement of fleeing or injured prey. The flies are designed for inshore fly fishing and are deadly for redfish, bonefish, striped bass, speckled trout, flounder, snook, tarpon, sheepshead and all saltwater and brackish water predators.
