I call these SkitterWakes. My rendition of the OG musky bug. All made from wood, and very similar shape and construction to how the originals were made back in the old days. But better hook placement, hardware, and stainless lips, with heavier duty screws, and epoxy holding them on. I have been throwing these for years and put some great quality fish on these along with some friends. I have had a lot of hours behind an OG musky bug and I honestly think these have a more crisp and positive sound on the water than the originals with the aluminum lip.
These are 5” baits, and they come in +/- 1 1/2oz. Victory hooks (they took over matzuo’s design) heavy duty 80lb split rings and covers.
